1.0 tog bag, long-sleeve bodysuit and a cotton sleepsuit
Everything else
Go by room temperature, not season. Our 1.0 tog covers 18 to 22°C, which is where most bedrooms sit year-round with the heating on low. Below 18°C add a long-sleeved bodysuit rather than a heavier bag. Above 24°C use the muslin swaddle instead.
For sleep bags, size down. A bag that is too big lets a baby slip inside it, which is the one genuine risk. For everything else size up: bodysuits and knits are worn for a season, and a slightly long sleeve is a rolled cuff rather than a problem.
The bodysuits, swaddle, booties, sleep bag and soother are all newborn-safe. The comforters carry a four-month recommendation from the manufacturer for cot use, and the mobile should come off the cot the moment your baby can push up on their hands.
Everything except made-to-order personalised pieces. Use the item properly, wash it, and if it is not right we arrange the collection ourselves and refund to the original payment method within five working days of it reaching us.
Yes, and it costs nothing. Tick the gift option in your basket, add a message up to 200 characters, and it goes out in recycled tissue with a handwritten card. Gift invoices never show a price.
We ship from Hong Kong. Orders placed before 2pm Hong Kong time are picked the same working day, and personalised pieces add three days before dispatch. Transit time then depends on the service you choose at checkout and on customs clearance. You get a tracking link by email when the parcel is collected, not when the label is printed.
